The Italian cycling team Chateau D’Ax was very competitive in the peloton in the early 90s. The team was based in Italy and was sponsored by the Italian furniture manufacturer Chateau d’Ax.
It was under this jersey that italian rider Gianni Bugno won in 1990 Milan-San Remo and then the Giro d’Italia. This was Bugno’s first victory in the Giro d’Italia, and he would go on to win the race again in 1991.
