The Panasonic-Isostar dutch team was one of the biggest teams in the professional peloton in the late 1980s with riders like Erik Breukink, Steven Rooks and Gert-Jan Theunisse. In 1988, Erick Breukink won the young rider classification of the Tour de France.
The team was sponsored by Panasonic, a Japanese electronics company.
