This is the cycling set of the former Spanish team Banesto during the 2000 season. This outfit uses the classic Banesto colours (blue and white) and adds the colours of the Spanish flag.

Banesto had a strong presence in the Grand Tours, with its riders winning the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia, and Vuelta a España on multiple occasions.  During the 2000 season, the Banesto team won several stages of the Tour de France and the Tour of Spain.
