Here is the 1970 road world champion's jersey won by the young Belgian Jean-Pierre Monseré. The Belgian rider beat Danish rider Mortensen and Italian rider Felipe Gimondi on the Leicester circuit. Unfortunately, he would meet a tragic fate the following year.

While wearing the rainbow jersey for the Belgian team Flandria-Mars, Monseré was killed instantly by a car during a race in Belgium.
